New Music: Weezer: "Life's What You Make It" (Talk Talk cover) [Stream]

Weezer trade the synthy sheen for some stompy fuzz on their cover of Talk Talk hit "Life's What You Make It", and it sounds like drummer Pat Wilson-- not Rivers Cuomo-- is standing in for Mark Hollis on lead vocal. Some kindly YouTuber has synced the new Weezer rendition, which appears on UK editions of The Red Album, with the eerie (and, okay, kinda hokey) clip for the 1986 original [via Stereogum].
