Video: Amy Millan: "Skinny Boy"
Amy Millan's video for "Skinny Boy" is pretty wholesome, despite her honey-tongued come-on, "You've got lips I could spend the day with." Sure, there's lots kissing in this black and white clip, but the video's cute teenage couple have celibate fun, too: bike riding, ice skating, bowling-- basically everything you were allowed to do with the opposite sex, according to vacation Bible school. But once the song's couple find an empty mattress and start making out, the guitars spiral and the video takes on an aura that's at once dreamy and sinister-- at least until the couple's friends intrude on their idyllic romance.
