New Music : Ghislain Poirier: "Grimey Land (African Hip-Hop Mix)" [MP3]

Ghislain Poirier was asked to create an African hip-hop mix for BBC's Radio 1 and came through with this 23 minute long playlist of artists from Tanzania, Senegal, Burkina Saso, and South Africa. Though the whole thing is solid, "FCK (Raw Mix)", at about 13 minutes in, is its peak, before the whole thing cools down a little. Poirier, who kindly provided us with the tracklist, also has links to the artists on his MySpace page.
