Video: Modest Mouse: "Dashboard"
The operating costs of Up, K, and Suicide Squeeze combined probably equal about half of what was spent on this clip's props, costumes, and special effects, which include computer animated sea monsters, extras from Pirates of the Caribbean, and a hell of a lot of aging makeup.
And it's totally worth it, as Isaac Brock delivers his best comedic performance yet telling a fish story that doesn't seem half as far-fetched as the fact that he got Johnny frickin Marr to not only join his band, but to appear in his video wearing a turban and an outfit left over from "Welcome to the Black Parade".
Btw, like half of us can't watch this video due to technical issues with MTVU's website. Maybe you'll have better luck.
