Pitchfork

This debut clip from CocoRosie's upcoming album is about as unusual as we've come to expect from the sisters Casady. The track slowly builds from sticky, muddy beatboxing and weird vocalizations to a melting downtempo beat that marks the duo's latest foray into hip-hop. The lyrics are a bit much ("I will bathe you in the crystal light/ That sleeps between my thighs"), but CocoRosie sound best anyway during the parts where the beat drops and the women let their specter-like voices hang over the track.
