Last Tuesday we reported that Isaac Brock cut himself during a show in South Dakota, slicing his torso before continuing the show. But it's not the first time Brock has self-mutilated on stage. Reader Brad Klopman directed us to footage he shot back in 2002. The three-minute clip shows Brock asking for a knife from the audience during an instrumental jam. Brock taps his foot and points to individuals in the front row, singing, "You got a knife? You got a knife?" Then an audience member hands him a pocket knife. He makes a few swift cuts on his arms and wrists, before throwing the knife down and picking up the mic again. The crowd goes silent for a few seconds afterward, perhaps creeped out by how jovial Brock was throughout the whole process. The lesson here: When someone (especially Isaac Brock) asks you for a knife, don't give it to them.
