Video: Battles: "Atlas" [live at Empty Bottle; Chicago]
Battles' video for "Atlas" is one of our favorites so far this year, and it's the most-watched video we've had on Forkcast. The art-rock supergroup-- which features Tyondai Braxton, John Stainer (Helmet), Ian Williams (Don Caballero), and Dave Konopka-- are currently touring to support the excellent Mirrored, which comes out May 15 on Warp. The live footage below was shot by Rainbo Video at Battles' Empty Bottle show last week in Chicago. The camera moves from member to member, focusing on how each Battler contributes to this water-tight track. This only gets us more excited to see them destroy at this year's Pitchfork Festival.
