Video: The Decemberists: "Classic Rock Soundcheck"

Sheesh, it's raining Lynyrd Skynyrd covers round here lately. First Will Oldham answered our cries for "Freebird". Now, a video has surfaced of the Decemberists tearing into that quaint Dickensian mariner ballad, "Sweet Home Alabama", during the soundcheck before a recent show at Western Washington University. Is there accordion? You fucking know there is, dudes. Not only that, the clip starts off with Capitol's finest Victorian prog-poppers performing Steve Miller Band's hit "Jet Airliner".

Thanks a lot to Volume Knob's Jessica Gentile for the tip, and check out her blog for more Decemberists YouTube action.
