Remember when we said Los Campesinos! were "Rising" a few weeks back? We wanted to show you an official video for the Cardiff indie-pop septet's most stupidly happy-making song, "You! Me! Dancing!" But we couldn't, because there wasn't one. (Though the unofficial YouTube videos of fans dancing to the track can be pretty cute.)

With today's release of the "You! Me! Dancing!" single on Wichita, our problem is solved. Like the video for prior single "We Throw Parties, You Throw Knives", the new "You! Me! Dancing!" clip features animated sci-fi warfare, as bizarre as the song is giddy. What, don't fighter pilots wash their hands in the future? The dancefloor may have been an alien landscape for Los Campesinos! when they wrote this song, but by now they should be getting used to it. At least on indie and Britpop nights.
