We get about a billion "OMG my favorite band is in an ad, this is awesome/horrifying" tips (for which we thank you!), but few of them have the sort of neck-snapping factor of, say, Animal Collective in a Crayola commercial or that Kelly Clarkson Vitamin Water spot that you've no doubt seen by now. One that does, however, is Deerhoof's "Blue Cash" soundtracking part of the "Raise Them on Robinson's" campaign for the UK-based fruit juice. (Also featured in some ads is Architecture in Helsinki's "Spring 2008".) And like the AC/Crayola combo, both the Deerhoof, and the AiH, oddly makes a lot of childlike sense.
