WTF: The Arcade Fire: "The Price Is Right"
The Arcade Fire do the darndest things, huh? From mopping the paraffin with Team Chunklet at WhirlyBall to conspicuously placing themselves in the live studio audience of a kitschy TV staple, the band transcends the tonnage of its recorded output with the occasional glint of wackiness. Take, for instance, this appearance on "The Price Is Right". Recently-- not sure when, actually-- Firestarters Tim Kingsbury and Richard Reed Perry, donning their bar-tour-styled 1-866 and Neon Bible tees, found their way right behind a line of contestants vying for a lovely furniture item. It's a bit fuzzy, a bit short, and a bit inconsequential, but it's worth a gander. (Thanks to Stereogum)
