"Battery Acid" and Interview (Live on "The Henry Rollins Show")

Videos: Queens of the Stone Age: "Battery Acid" and Interview (Live on "The Henry Rollins Show")

Queens of the Stone Age stopped by "The Henry Rollins Show" recently to perform for an episode that will air tomorrow on the Independent Film Channel, but Hank and IFC are offering a substantial preview of the performance a day early.

Josh Homme and co. turn in a locked-in rendition of Era Vulgaris' "Battery Acid" that's so faithful to the recorded version it even includes some of its stranger textural noises. Unfortunately, the video cuts off with a minute of the song left to go, but such is the nature of a preview.

Making up for that last minute is an interview with the band where-- in between off-the-cuff metaphors for the band, their sound, and their approach to collaboration-- Homme explains that Era Vulgaris is "a modern album for a modern age with a modern title...in Latin."
