"Crackerjack Docker"

Video: Prinzhorn Dance School: "Crackerjack Docker"

DFA duo Prinzhorn Dance School's unadorned herky-jerks play up the rhythms of post-industrial life rather than rapid heartbeats of the dance floor. The Brighton-based group's first video, for recent digital single "Up! Up! Up!", found sweet music in household culinary tasks, but don't tell "Dinner With the Band". Prinzhorn's newest clip, for their forthcoming second album's "Crackerjack Docker", makes bass-and-drum clatter out of basic tool-time work-- likewise, don't tell Bob Vila. By the time the duo's new self-titled full-length arrives, maybe they'll be bringing us the music of the subway. Hear the rhythm, loud and strong.
