Interpol's latest full-length Our Love to Admire has its moments but generally comes across as a bit bloodless, so no surprise it actually sounds better when the machines take over completely. Paul Epworth, producer of Bloc Party, Maxïmo Park, the Futureheads, etc., here working under his remixing Phones alias, swallows the "The Heinrich Maneuver" single whole and coughs up a blocky, acid-streaked chunk of ravey robopop.
