"Citizens of Tomorrow"

Video: Tokyo Police Club: "Citizens of Tomorrow"

If Tokyo Police Club are "Citizens of Tomorrow", does that mean for them it's already Saturday? Before you get too envious, remember that this tense, energetic track from the Canadian rockers' quite good A Lesson in Crime EP takes place in the futuristic dystopia that will be 2009. It's a time when child slaves build spaceships and we'll all have microchips implanted in our hearts (so, President Giuliani, then?). MTV's Subterranean blog has posted a video of this song, the fourth (!) from the young band's seven-track EP, and veteran director Kyle Davison brings this paranoid sci-fantasy to life. There are space capsules, mind-control pills, and other terrifying sights. Think of it this way: At least you're working for the weekend, not for "robot masters". Right?
