New Music: Animal Collective: Live on Má Fama
When Kyp Malone sat down with Má Fama last month, his in-studio performances and interview showed another side of the TV on the Radio singer/guitarist. About a week earlier, the Portuguese blog checked in with Animal Collective's David Portner (aka Avey Tare), Noah Lennox (aka Panda Bear), and Brian Weitz (aka Geologist). The interview session originally aired on Lisbon radio way back on July 16, but it's set to become available for download starting Aug. 11, so keep your "save as" fingers at the ready. Apparently, the AC mostly talked about their upcoming LP, Strawberry Jam; here's hoping for a performance or two of new songs like "Fireworks" or "Cuckoo Cuckoo", as well.
