Video: Stars: "Take Me to the Riot"

A country boy takes a walk on the mild side in his first visit to the city on this video from Stars' latest album, In the Bedroom After the War. After a sweet exchange with an older man in transit, the backpacked young dude negotiates the sights and sounds of the city-- sirens, a laundromat-- before finding camaraderie at, um, looks like a Stars show. The Canadian indie-pop charmers bash out their surging, U2-style anthem "Take Me to the Riot", as singer Torquil Campbell croons, "Let me stay." Campbell co-directs with Benjamin Weinstein.
