Video: Animal Collective: "Walk Around" (Live at Midi Festival)
Every day it's the same thing. Sleep too late, drink too much coffee, come across new, high-quality video clips of Animal Collective's set last month at France's Midi Festival. After two post-Strawberry Jam songs yesterday and two older tunes last week, today brings another post-Jam, er, jam (apologies, never enough coffee). Folks are calling this one "Walk Around", and with good reason. As an off-kilter electronic rhythm bounces around, A.C. chant, "I want to walk around with you." Later, they get more specific, adding, "just you." Why, thanks, we would enjoy a long walk on the French Riviera with one of our favorite experimental pop groups. Via Gorilla vs. Bear.
