Video: Queens of the Stone Age: "3's & 7's"

Muscle cars, bikini-clad "Hell Kittens on the Run", and the gnarly riffs of Queens of the Stone Age: It all comes together in this video for "3's & 7's", the single that sounds like a mash-up of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "Born to Be Wild", taken from the band's 2007 album Era Vulgaris. The clip is apparently an homage to the Robert Rodriguez/Quentin Tarantino double feature Grindhouse (it's still in the Netflix queue over here), which is itself an homage to the B-movie trash cinema of the 1960s and 70s. So we have like three layers of referencing going on here. Paul Minor directs.
