Even the cartoon version of Pete Doherty-- seen here in the video for "French Dog Blues", from Babyshambles' forthcoming album Shotter's Nation-- looks like he just woke up in all of his clothes. He's got dark circles under his eyes, a wrinkled oxford, his tie is askew, and then there's the omnipresent porkpie hat, which probably has something illegal hidden in it somewhere. The video tells the story of an adorable canine in a junk shop who can't stop hitting the bottle. His intoxication ultimately causes a break from reality, and his self-destructive impulses prove costly. Talking about the dog here.
