Toronto duo Crystal Castles' 8-bit terror-mongering is spread out across 7"s, remixes, and more blog posts than there are stars in the night sky stickered to your bedroom ceiling, but unless you're a right-clicking completist it's not a discography you're likely to hear all at once. Pittsburgh-based DJ Howlermonkey has corrected that, blending many of the Crystal Castles' tracks into a single, surprisingly coherent, unsurprisingly awesome 33-minute "Omnibus Mix". Here you get the electro-punk gibberish of "Air War", the haunted pitch-shifting from their remix of UK rockers GoodBooks' "Leni", and the cyborg chanting from their remix of Liars' "It Fit When I Was a Kid"-- all in one file. Alas, you'll still have to look elsewhere for "Excuse Me", off their glow-in-the-dark split 7" with Hearts Revolution. Hint: If you're in a dark place, try the 7" that's glowing.
