One of the constants through Robert Pollard's long and prolific career has been the collage artwork that adorns many of his record covers. It's a style that seemed to have a revival in 1990s indie, or maybe it just seemed that way because two of the bigger bands-- GbV and Pavement-- returned to the aesthetic regularly. Collage certainly suits Pollard's records-- handmade visuals to go with handmade sound. The new video for "Shadow Port", a track from his forthcoming album Standard Gargoyle Decisions, consists of stills of his Pollard's artwork, assembled and synced to the music by editor Marc Beck.
