Your Pitchforkers were out enjoying their Saturday night and we haven't yet watched the Seth Rogen guest-hosting "Saturday Night Live" on TiVo. We did however wake up this morning and straightaway look for clips of Spoon's musical performances from the show. So far the only one online is, curiously, the Austin band's second song of the night, "You Got Yr. Cherry Bomb". (The internet says they played "The Underdog" first, and frankly we believe it-- why would the internet lie? What would it have to gain?) Anyway...so Spoon seem to be spreading things out across NBC's late-night programming, after a quite lovely reading of "Black Like Me" on Leno a couple of weeks ago; perhaps we'll get "Finer Feelings" on Conan sometime next month.

We shouldn't need to remind you that all four of the above-mentioned songs come from the Merge-released Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga-- you should already own it.
