"Bonafied Lovin' (Tough Guys)"

Video: Chromeo: "Bonafied Lovin' (Tough Guys)"

Once upon a time bands got money for nothing and their chicks for free, but Montreal/NYC electro-poppers Chromeo are working for every nickel. Their newest video, directed by Nima Nourizadeh, follows on the heels of their spot for "Tenderoni" and it's equally winning. A sorta tribute to the video for the Dire Straits' "Money for Nothing", the song that ruled the airwaves back when we pawed through rows of longboxes searching for all-digital "DDD" recordings, Chromeo's blocky animated characters are rendered more crisply and of course there's a lot more sex and no sign of Sting. That's the way you do it. (via Discobelle)
