Video: José González: "Teardrop" (Massive Attack cover)

Heeeeeere's Pig-Man. Swedish singer/songwriter José González and director Andreas Nilsson continue their sin-themed series of videos together for the songs from González's Pitchfork-recommended sophomore album, In Our Nature, with an animated clip for the album's Massive Attack cover "Teardrop". Here we begin with two walled cities standing side-by-side in the desert, while overhead what at first appears to be the sun morphs into an eerily familiar shape. Bible-story superheroes spring into action, accompanied by González's ominous guitar figures. Elephants march, dudes chow down on food while tending some kind of magic crystal, and a sleeping king in the heavens wakes up in a smiting mood. Somehow, the "Manhog" from the previous two In Our Nature videos is complicit.
