Pitchfork

We first heard this song, from !!!'s last album, Myth Takes, way back in February, so it's a little odd to be just now checking out a new video. But, as Pitchfork's news team reported last month, "Yadnus" has been released as a digital single, so it all makes sense. The song shares a shuffling Gary Glitter drum beat with Battles' "Atlas"; it's a groove that hasn't been heard this much outside of sports arenas since the mid-1970s. As to the rather disturbing video, it's the second new clip in a week to involve roadkill, only this time the poor crushed animals are so moved by the song at hand that they sing along with Nic Offer and the gang.
