Video: Common: "I Want You"
Common breaks out the celebs as well as the champagne in the new video for Finding Forever's "I Want You", and not just in lyrics like, "It's kinda like The Breakup with Jen and Vince Vaughn." Kanye West, Alicia Keys, and Serena Williams all appear, along with actress Kerry Washington, who co-directed the video. Actor Derek Luke and wife Sophia also show up. Keys plays Common's love interest: While West and other guys in suits are enjoying the bubbly, she's finding out her man's been cheating. "I never been good at saying goodbye," Common explains over loping, Will.I.Am-produced soul-rap beats. As with much of Finding Forever, the clip is stultifying in its self-seriousness, but there's still a thrill to seeing all those big stars in such minor roles.
