I was going to say that, though Ryan Adams fans will disagree, the best part of this web-exclusive video of the band on "Late Show With David Letterman" is Dave's funny intro, where he addresses the "Webcasters." Though Adams' performance of "How Do You Keep Love Alive" is nice enough. But then the band crowds around Dave's desk and invites Nellie McKay to guest on "Pearls on a String", and things take a more interesting turn. The sound is weird-- maybe they are just strumming along to a recording, or it might be the notoriously buggy "Late Show" website (get ready for a glitch or two), I'm not sure. But it's still pretty entertaining.
