Stars have kept us busy with artful videos for tracks like "The Night Starts Here" and "Take Me to the Riot", from dramatic new album In Our Bedroom After the War. The Canadian quintet have now also become the latest band to stop by AOL's Spinner blog to play a few songs for their show "The Interface". As in their recent appearance on Minnesota Public Radio, Stars here stick solely to songs from their post-war Bedroom, swapping out "Personal" and "My Favorite Book" in favor of "Ghost of Genova Heights" and "Window Bird". So if you listen to both sets, you've heard nearly half of the album, including "Midnight Coward" and first single "Take Me to the Riot" two times apiece. While some bands look out of place against this black studio backdrop, Stars singers Torquil Campbell and Amy Millan invest their performance with stage-like conviction, while shades-wearing bassist Evan Cranley has clambered onto the drum set before the end of the first song. Could be there's a riot goin' on.
