Video: Bjork: "Wanderlust"
Talk about great advertising for Björk's new single and its accompanying DVD. As previously reported, the Encyclopedia Pictura-directed video for Volta's "Wanderlust" looks to be a dazzling spectacle, although this slightly pixelated Yahoo stream clearly doesn't do the thing justice. The version on the DVD will be in 3-D, and even comes with the necessary glasses (see how easy that was, Missy?), but the verdant vistas and snowcapped peaks of even this blurry 2-D version seem pretty awesome. A helmet-wearing Björk floats downriver, doing flips with another figure on her back and facing all manner of friendly, fantastical creatures. All the while, her ethereal voice peals forth over busy electronic beats and august foghorn orchestration-- "relentlessly craving". Craving a better look at this video, that's for sure.
