Video: These New Puritans: "Swords of Truth"
The video ain't much, mostly just lead singer Jack Barnett singing into the camera while a flame flickers in his face from offscreen. There are some kaleidoscope-type effects, a few shots of a scrubby outdoor space, and that's about it. But the song, from the recently-released Beat Pyramid, captures most everything this band does well-- the stop/start rhythm, overlapping chants, a tense, off-putting verse that releases into a huge chorus embrace.
