Tobacco is one of the members of smelly-vinyl-loving Black Moth Super Rainbow and Aesop Rock is one of his fucked-up friends. OK, there is nothing particularly fucked-up about the man born Ian Matthias Bavitz as far as I know, I'm just saying that because he offers a guest rap on this track from Tobacco's upcoming multi-media album Fucked Up Friends (a DVD of the same name on BMSR's imprint appeared last year). You may remember Tobacco from his brilliant videos, which captured perfectly the confusion laced with nausea that was the overriding sensation of my childhood; turns out his woozy, spaced-out electro-pop is a logical backing for Aesop Rock to rap over.
