New Music: Scarlett Johansson: "Falling Down" (Tom Waits cover) [Stream]
The stream of the title track from Scarlett Johansson's Anywhere I Lay My Head that we posted last week was removed faster than you can say "16 Shells From a Thirty-Ought-Six", but Spinner has a full-length stream of "Falling Down" that's presumably there to stay. Dave Sitek's production sounds pleasantly dreamy, and some people in the office have pointed out that Johansson sounds a bit like she's channeling Sinéad O'Connor (with about 1/4 of the range, obviously, and an unsteady sense of pitch).
