Baltimore's the Death Set don't exactly have a lot of range, but they do their thing-- propulsive electro-rock party jams, basically-- well and with a relentless consistency. In most of their tracks, the synths and guitars grind away, the drums set a course for the horizon, and everyone sings along because no one person can sing that well, and hey, it's more fun to sing along anyway. The band's videos to date, like this new one for "Around the World", reflect the off-the-cuff and playful feel of the music.
