Whatever else you might say about the 'Fork, don't accuse us of not knowing what we like. Or don't like, I guess, but that's beside the point (this time around, but I'm looking at you, Ryan Adams). And we likes us some Manitoba. With Up in Flames jockeying for position in the year-end lists of various and sundry staff members, and two EP's almost worthy of inclusion themselves, Manitoba news is good news, as they say, so join me, won't you, for a little joyride on the proverbial bandwagon.

The aforementioned Up in Flames was recently re-released as a double-discy, limited-edition, special kind of thing on The Leaf Label, and I know, every time one of these things comes out, you have to buy the damn album again-- but no! In this case, the six song, two video bonus EP can be purchased all by its lonesome, because the folks at Leaf love you just that much. The EP collects the b-sides of Manitoba's two EP releases from Up in Flames, adds one unreleased track ("Cherrybomb Part II"), and two videos (for "Jacknuggeted" and "Skunks"). Value added, indeed!
