Deerhoof Release EP, Continue Tour

As Pitchfork reported last month, Deerhoof are on the open road, touring in support of a new EP, Green Cosmos. "So what?" you say. "If you already told me, why am I supposed to care? I mean, Deerhoof's constantly evolving hodgepodge of clangy abrasion mixed with the sweet wail of frontwoman Satomi rocks, but I already read this! why?!"

Whoa, calm down. The reason, thank you very much, that I even bring it up is because that fabled EP was late to arrove. Finally, we have a tracklist. And here it is, smartass:

01 Come See the Duck
02 Green Cosmos
03 Malalauma
04 Spiral Golden Town
05 Hot Mint Air Balloon
06 Koneko Kitten
07 Byun

This isn't enough for you? Are you totally impossible to please? Well get excited, because Greg Saunier tells his reps, who tell us, that Deerhoof are double-timing it-- working on a new LP while touring America. The as-yet-untitled disc is slated for a fall release. Saunier says they might have even been able to record while on the road, "But last time Chris brought his computer on tour, an entire row of pixels went entirely blank." That's cool, guys, you're not our slaves. Just hurry it up, okay? Thanks.
