Sam Prekop to Tour Europe, North America

Now let's see...there's Professor Stephen Hawking, the Nutty Professor, Professor Booty(?), but I still can't think of anyone I'd want schooling me more than Sam Prekop. The Sea and Cake frontman released his syllabus for Pop Comfort 101, Who's Your New Professor?, earlier this month. And while many of us are swooning over his first solo release in five years, the good folks of Offenbach, Germany deserve their chance too. Beginning in London on April 26, Prekop will tour western Europe in support of Professor, and will follow that up with a two-week clip of North America.

Fellow Sea and Cake contributor Archer Prewitt will join Prekop for a pair of dates in Scotland, while fellow Thrill Jockey artists Pit er Pat will come on board during the west-coast U.S. swing. The rest of the dates shake out thusly:
