Jamie Lidell Begins American Tour Tonight

So this is what happened to blue-eyed soul? Not to draw a line from Dusty Springfield to Hall and Oates to Jamie Lidell (seriously, not going to draw it), but the Brit crooner/produer's great 2005 record, Multiply, has a lot more in common with those giants than most of his Warp Records labelmates (except for Aphex Twin, we know he got soul). Lidell has the voice, and, according to his promo shots, he has the blue eyes. Also according to his website, he has a stage show befitting a soul singer (movement, instruments, costumes).

Starting tonight, Lidell brings his revue to our American shores. Take a trip and multiply:
