Measles Mumps Rubella Get Remixed by Ad-Rock, Tour

Make sure you're up to date on those vaccinations, because Measles Mumps Rubella are ravaging the nation. Last night, the New York four-piece set out on a short U.S. tour in support of their Doubling Cube release Fantastic Success, whose title hopefully bears some resemblance to what this trek will bring. The stint kicks off at Allston, Massachusetts' Great Scott venue this evening, and comes to a close May 12 in Philly.

Measles Mumps Rubella have more in store for fans as summer approaches, like, for example, the upcoming MMR remix single Dynamic Disaster. The Beastie Boys' Ad-Rock, along with Fantastic Success engineer Jonathan Kreinik, DJ John Selway (Asphodel / Serotonin), and Toshio Kashiwara (Christian Marclay, DJ Olive, Tim Barnes collaborator) will have their way with the new track. Cooler than the ice cream man, yes?
