Six Organs of Admittance Awakens on New LP
In the midst of these road trips, a new record from Chasny's Six Organs moniker is set to make its way to the record store. Following 2005's School of the Flower is The Sun Awakens, due June 5 on Drag City in the UK and June 13 in North America, both on CD and vinyl formats. And don't let the title mislead you; a press release claims Sun showcases "the darkest Six Organs of Admittance yet". Tim Green (Fucking Champs, Nation of Ulysses) twiddled knobs on the album and OM's Al Cisneros guests, contributing bass on the track "River of Transfiguration".
