In other nius, Xiu Xiu have finalized the tracklisting for The Air Force. Here it is:
01 Buzz Saw
02 Boy Soprano
03 Hello From Eau Claire
04 Vulture Piano
05 P.J. in the Streets...
06 Bishop, CA
07 Saint Pedro Glue Stick
08 The Pineapple Vs. the Watermelon

11 The Wigmaster
Oh and remember that Xiu Xiu covers EP we told you about a few months ago? It was supposed to come out in April on Acuarela? Well, it's now coming out in July. And the tracklist has been shuffled around a bit. Here's how it looks now:
01 "He Needs Me" (Nina Simone)
02 "Don't Cha" (Pussycat Dolls)
03 "Kangaroo" (This Mortal Coil/Alex Chilton)
04 "Blue Berry Mine Shaft" (Nedelle)
05 "All We Ever Wanted Was Everything" (Bauhaus)
The Xiu Xiu lineup on the EP consists of Jamie Stewart on vocals, drum machine and "tea kettle" (!), Nedelle Torisi on guitar (so she's kinda covering herself), Dave Hoff on double bass, and Annie Lewandowski on harmonium. Verrry interesting instrumentation.
