I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness Reissue Debut EP

Secretly Canadian will reissue moody Austin, TX rockers I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness' self-titled debut EP on December 5. Spoon's Britt Daniel produced the five-track EP in the summer of 2003, well before the band debuted this year's still-awesome video for "The Owl".

For those who didn't hear the original Emperor Jones release, Secretly Canadian has also been kind enough to share a track from the EP via a free mp3 on their website. "When You Go Out"-- with its hi-hats on the upbeat and its emphasis on trebly guitar riffs-- is less ominous than the band's later material on this year's Fear Is on Our Side, so those looking for a little holiday dance party music can download the track at the link below.

Tracklist:

01 We're Still the Weaker Sex
02 The Less You See
03 I Want to Die in the Hot Summer
04 When You Go Out
05 Your Worst Is Your Best
