Matt & Kim Tour, Share Delicious/Gory Videos

Matt & Kim Tour, Share Delicious/Gory Videos Ah, to be young, and in love, and touring the country in a van, and rocking the crap out of cramped, sweaty basement apartments and dive bars. Chances are if you use a computing device, your pointer has, at some time during the last week, hovered over the names of two ebullient whippersnappers doing just that: Matt & Kim.

A lovable Brooklyn couple/keys'n'drums duo, Matt & Kim serve up some mean synth-poppy punk (or synth-punky pop, if you prefer) on their self-titled, IHeartComix debut-- call 'em Mates of the Empire State-- and they're touring up a storm behind it right now. Reports indicate you will enjoy experiencing Matt & Kim live, even if you can't actually see them, so you should totally check them out, for real.

Further enticement: they're cute and carefree, as evidenced by this pair of uncleanly M&K videos, both of which see Matt (keyboard) and Kim (drums) simultaneously satisfying their fetishes for playing in kitchens and making a big ol' mess.

It's blood that stains the kitchen in Colin Devin Moore's video for "5K", while Matt and Nick Chatfield-Taylor's "Yea Yeah" clip takes food fights to a whole 'nother level. The latter wins the day with its surprise finale alone.

"5K"

"Yea Yeah"
