We know we're beating a dead horse (er, ass) when it comes to jokes about the title of Yo La Tengo's Best New Music-earner, I Am Not Afraid of You and I Will Beat Your Ass (even the band noticed), but c'mon, with a name like that, there's no way around it.

Our fearless butt-kickers have tacked on a handful of dates to their previously announced U.S. tour, which is scheduled to kick off in late January. After showing the States their stuff, Yo La Tengo will make their way to Japan, Australia, and Singapore. Beat Your Ass Season Pass-holders have access to pre-sale tickets for the new gigs.

And just a quick reminder-- Yo La Tengo will drop a live iTunes Session EP digitally on January 9.
