Throbbing Gristle Prep First Studio LP in Decades
Industrial cult favorites (and how much industrial is really that mainstream anyway?) Throbbing Gristle will release Part Two - The Endless Not via Mute on April 3. (That's just two weeks before the new Nine Inch Nails album. Hmm...)
It's their first studio album since 1980's Heathen Earth, and the first 1000 copies of the record will come as the Special Edition Totemic Gift edition. These records will include "one of a series of four different TG Totemic Gifts in either copper, bone, rubber, or wood," according to a press release. They were also "handmade in Thailand under [Throbbing Gristle 'special effects' player] Peter Christopherson's supervision."
The tracklist for The Endless Not is below. Half of the tracks have question marks in them, which makes us wonder... If they don't know, how should we?
Throbbing Gristle tour dates are forthcoming.
Tracklist:
01 Vow of Silence
02 Rabbit Snare?
03 Separated?
04 Almost a Kiss?
05 Greasy Spoon
06 Lyre Liar?
07 Above the Below
08 Endless Not
09 The Worm Waits Its Turn?
10 After the Fall?
