Art Brut Tour UK With Maximo Park, + North America
You will know Maxïmo Park's "Our Velocity" this spring as the Warp-signed Brits careen across the UK and Europe on a tour in support of new LP Our Earthly Pleasures, out April 2. You will also know Art Brut. For the UK portion of the tour, Paul Smith and company have opted to cart along chatty Eddie Argos and his riff-happy band, who'll join Maxïmo Park for 14 overseas dates.
But before they play second fiddle to Maxïmo, Art Brut will play a few shows on our shores in April, hitting just five lucky North American cities.
According to NME.com, Art Brut-- whose latest single, "Nag Nag Nag Nag", still kicks heaps of arse-- are presently recording the follow-up to Pitchfork's third favorite album of 2005, Bang Bang Rock & Roll, with producer Dan Swift (Snow Patrol, Kasabian, Aqualung).
