Art Brut Complete Complicated, Announce Release Date

Art Brut Complete Complicated, Announce Release Date The new Art Brut LP? It's a Bit Complicated, as you know. The album details? Not so much.

Art Brut revealed today that they have completed their sophomore full-length, It's a Bit Complicated, and will share their masterpiece with the American world on June 26 via Downtown Records. Mute has not yet set a UK release date, but we're penciling in June 25 on our calendars based on past experience.

The Dan Swift-produced record follows up essential disc Bang Bang Rock & Roll and includes the previously mentioned songs "Nag Nag Nag Nag", "Direct Hit", "Pump Up the Volume", "I Will Survive", "People in Love", and "Sunday Evening", as well as "Post Soothing Out".

As facial hair boycotting Eddie Argos told Pitchfork last week, It's a Bit Complicated features horns and has him sounding "a little bit older. Even though I'm 27, I'd say I'm about 17 in the songs." Good thing they don't card at clubs based on a bloke's persona, or else Eddie will have a hard time getting into the gigs on his band's forthcoming tour.
