Gossip, Debbie Harry, Dresden Dolls Show True Colors
And that's why we love them

Uniting artists in a show of support for the LGBTA community, the True Colors tour-- kicking off tonight (June 8) in Las Vegas-- was designed by Cyndi Lauper with the goal of gathering "thousands standing together through music" for the cause of "equality for all."

The Gossip, Blondie's Debbie Harry, the Dresden Dolls, Erasure, and Cyndi herself are all in for the nearly month-long tour, hosted by Margaret Cho. The always-colorful Rufus Wainwright will pitch in on a pair of dates, and several other acts will rotate throughout the tour's run. What's more, one dollar from every ticket sold goes to the Human Rights Campaign.

On June 12, the Tommy Boy Silver Label will release a compilation album meant to accompany the tour, featuring ten tracks from True Colors performers.
