Services Member Gets Naked, Arrested at Faint Show

Services Member Gets Naked, Arrested at Faint Show Photo by Hillary Joyce

Somebody got worked up so sexual at the Faint show last night in Omaha, but it wasn't the Faint themselves. According to numerous eyewitness/reader reports and confirmed by a representative at the act's label, A Touch of Class Recordings, Tristan Bechet of openers Services saw fit to get buck naked during the duo's final song.

This of course happened on the Sokol Auditorium stage, before the innocent eyes of many young people who had obviously never seen the naked male body before, prompting an off-duty cop to spring to action and serve and protect the all ages crowd. Said cop pulled Bechet from the stage. A reader reports that four uniformed police officers turned up shortly after, tossed a towel over Bechet's naughty bits, and forcibly escorted him out of the venue.

Bechet spent some time in police custody before being released early this morning on $450 bail. Word from A Touch of Class is that Bechet will have to stand trial for his ill-timed nakedness.

One reader claims that Faint singer Todd Baechle attempted to help Bechet as the latter was being arrested, but was held back by police. Baechle can surely sympathize; the Faint frontman was himself arrested after a 2002 mooning incident during a live date with No Doubt in Albuquerque.

The Faint wrap up their tour with one more Omaha show tonight (sans Services) at Sokol.

But you came here for nudity, didn't you? That which you seek may be yours, in all its uncensored, NSFW glory, with but one fateful click. Oh, and musicians-- next time you decide to get naked onstage? Make sure you're in Vegas.
