Girl Talk and Dan Deacon Tour Together!
Fall 2007 is now officially the season of the unstoppable touring combo.
After meeting up for the second day of the Pitchfork Music Festival, Pittsburgh mixmaster supreme Girl Talk and Baltimore spazz king Dan Deacon will hit the road together this September, slaying down the East Coast from Toronto to Atlanta and then blazing through California. More dates are in the works, and the pair will be joined by Tigerbeat6's White Williams at all shows.
Of course, both Girl Talk and Dan Deacon have a shit-ton of shows by their own damn selves this summer and fall. Girl Talk is busy all the way through December (!), playing with everybody from Clipse to Widespread Panic to Violent Femmes. And he recently appeared in Newsweek, chatting with U.S. Rep Mike Doyle about copyright law over hot dogs. (No, I am not making this up.)
Dan Deacon is on the road right now, heading up the West Coast on his way to not one but TWO shows in Montana. He was supposed to play a few shows in Canada in July, but they have been postponed.
Okie Dokie!!!
